About me…
From as long as I can remember, I have always been sensitive to architecture, materials, and designer’s pieces.
As a teenager, I borrowed my father’s drawing board and Rotring pens to create plans for imaginary places…
And then I chose a different path. I trained as an engineer, and I worked for about 20 years in supply chain function for international companies.
Interior Design became an obvious choice at the time of my professional transition. I therefore created “Studio Archibald”, after my training at Ecole Boulle in Paris, to work on projects combining creativity and technical aspects to service my clients. And if each project is unique, I take pleasure, each time, in experiencing this magical moment where an obvious dialogue takes place between spaces, colors and materials.
In my previous career, I was lucky to spend several years in the US, and it is a real pleasure for me to help english-speaking clients with their projects.

My Values
PEOPLE is at the heart of everything. I favor direct discussions and sharing ideas, this is for me a guarantee of success for a project, just as RESPECT is a fundamental value in my approach, whether towards my clients, the contractors who bring my design to life, or the suppliers I collaborate with.
RESPECT OF THE PLACE, of its history is just as important, i.e. transforming what needs to be, while preserving what can be, in the spirit of consistency, harmony and re-use when it is feasible.
I am committed to provide HIGH STANDARDS and PROFESSIONALISM to my clients; to that end I am a member of UNAID (french union of interior architects and designers), I continue to train regularly (energy efficiency building…), and I have a ten-year insurance for my activity.
My Approach
As an interior designer, LISTENING is the starting point to any project. Attentive, I seek to understand the needs and desires of my clients. I immerse myself in the place, looking for a detail, a connection, which will be the source of INSPIRATION.
In the design phase, I combine THINKING and CREATIVITY, to create spaces that are first functional and comfortable, meeting client’s expectations but with a dose of surprise too!
I pay a particular attention to my renderings, the best way for my clients to figure out options and make the right choices.
Finally, from start to finish, DUE DILIGENCE is the cornerstone of my approach, ensuring that each step is executed with quality and within budget and deadlines.
